Leadership is... doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Leadership is taking the lead on something without having to be told or asked. Leaders have the ability to not only motivate others but they also have the ability to motivate themselves. A lot of people feel as if you have to have a "title" to be a leader. Leadership has nothing to do with titles. Just because you have a title, doesn't automatically make you a leader.

Leadership in Life... I found personal growth back in 2016 when I decided to run for City Council. I've always been interested in politics but I would never step out and get involved due to fear. Fear of what people would say. Fear of messing up. Fear of doing or saying something wrong. But I decided to step out on faith and conqueror that fear. Even though I came up short at the polls, I gained so much courage during the entire process and became FEARLESS! So fearless that I'll be running again in 2020. At the beginning when I decided to run for City Council I was a shy, fearful country man from a small town who was afraid of the world. By then end of the process I was a fearless, brave politician who felt like he could conqueror the world!

Advice… Be FEARLESS! Don't be afraid to follow your dreams. One of the best feelings in the world is to conquer and do something you've always wanted to do but never had the courage to do so. Forget the naysayers! Prove them wrong and work your butt off! Nothing valuable in life comes easy or free but it's so worth it. GO AND CONQUER THE WORLD!
